As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I could have purchased a cheaper unit from one of those local freight stores, but they dont carry the world leader in air tools. Do yourself a favor and buy an IR.
I have put this sander to work on sanding boat’s 4 day’s a week’s in the past 10 weeks and is sanding as good as day one. I need to get a smaller one now.
