I am a professional technician, and use many power tools every day, this tool does its job well. If you are not used to using a professional grade tool, you may find this tool heavy, and possibly overpowered for the job (it will break stuck fasteners rather than working them loose if you are not careful). Also, the picture shows an extended anvil, which this wrench does not have (read the description).

This model replaces a model (IR221) that I used in my garage for 22 years before I noticed a loss of power. Unfortunately, IR no longer supplies rebuild kits for my old wrench. My recommendation: buy a gun and a rebuild kit at the same time…get 44 years of service and die before you need a second rebuild.

This impact gun works great and develops lots of torque. Torque reducing knob works a bit oddly, but just takes a little getting used to – works fine. It’s a little loud but what do you expect at this price point. This impact wrench is a great value.
